We’ve got a lot to be THANKFUL for!
Here at Artful Gentleman. we’ve got a lot to be thankful for this time of year. We’re surrounded by family, friends, supporters of all kinds and feel so grateful to be able to be able to rejoice and celebrate our achievements and even our most challenging moments with all of you! It’s been a heck of a year and the last month has seen its share of noteworthy events and so we thought we would offer a recap of some of the recent highlights!
Pop Up for Charity
But first, we want to tell you about our next biggest event here at our location, the McRoskey Mattress Co. On December 5th-7th we’ll be taking part in the Pop Up for Charity which will provide a fine selection of designer gifts available for the Holidays, and the best part is that proceeds support three different local charities including HRC SF, SPARK, and the Women’s Initiative. For more information, visit the event page, or register for the night you wish to visit. Each night supports a different charity:
Dec. 5th – Human Rights Campaign SF: [REGISTER]
Dec. 6th – SPARK: [REGISTER]
Dec. 7th – The Women’s Initiative: [REGISTER]
HRC San Francisco Annual Gala
We were so happy to support the 2013 Annual Gala for HRC San Francisco, and to support their cause we created a limited edition production of artisan ties, designed by Ember Harker. The event was a great way to show our appreciation for all the work that HRC San Francisco has done.
Global Green’s Green Gatsby Annual Gala
We had the pleasure of presenting our menswear at the Global Green’s Annual Gala, this year’s theme was the #GreenGatsby, with themes inspired from the movie and the best fashions of the past reinterpreted for today.
Artful Gentleman’s Jake Wall named 7×7 Hot 20: Reader’s Choice for top designer in San Francisco.
And you know we couldn't wrap up a blog post without a little bragging. Our cofounder, Jake Wall, was named the Reader’s Choice for the 7×7 Hot 20 for San Francisco! It’s an exciting accolade to be included with such an esteemed group of local artisans and top-notch San Franciscan’s and we’re just thrilled about the support from our local community. On top of all this, we’ve received praise from SF Gate as an emerging local designer as part of the Macy’s Fashion Incubator crew.
#MOVEMBER was all about the Gentleman: California Academy of Science’s #NIGHTLIFE
We took part in the #NIGHTLIFE event for the California Academy of Sciences and were amazed that such a hip event could be held at a museum after hours, we kept thinking about the movie “Night in the Museum,” considering we were presenting in a room full of lions, live alligators and sharks.
